![]() ![]() ![]() Are they using their normal casting points for this, or is this a bug and is it that they are getting more casting power? (Like getting the next day's casting points early because you reloaded?).That I had to shift this review to Thursday speaks well of Age of Wonders I spent so long playing the damn thing over the weekend that I didn’t have any time to write about it.Īge of Wonders III is Triumph’s long-awaited return to the series after a decade-long hiatus (most of which was spent making the not-very-good Overlords). So at times I catch the AI casting spells if the game gets reloaded. It is kinda of an exploit against the AI to save you from being exploited by the AI. This avoids any AI surprises me if I do need to reload later. Knowing this, during a simultaneous match with the AI, I often save and reload several times before I make any moves at all on my turn. Or the AI will split up some of their stacks. If you notice, the AI might decide to cast a summons suddenly when before, they have already chosen to end their turn. If you ever reload the game for any reason, the AI gets to play their turn over again (suddenly, their turn is no longer over). I have often used this to prevent the AI from cheating with their ability to keep on playing their turn with the simultaneous powers they have. Try this example.when your turn comes, save and then re-load the game. ![]() ![]() I have noticed while playing simultaneous turns vs the AI players. The AI may indeed cheat with their casting abilities at times.at least it may seem that way. From a single player perspective, Some evidence for some AI casting bug may be found if you play simultaneous turns. ![]()
